merry christmas
hope everyone's having a wonderful christmas so far. frankly, I was pretty bummed much of christmas eve and christmas morning. I don't know why. I think it's partly the fact that even though it's christmas, my family doesn't do much about it. And partly the fact that I'm missing everyone way too much ):

sigh, so now I'm being a sad in my bedroom, just like I expected it to be. Haha, to everyone that was on msn at 12.15pm, 25th December: Merry Christmas, we are all loners.

Haha kay sorry, I do love Christmas actually. And this year is probably the first year I woke up and the first thing I thought about was Jesus. Coming down to Earth as a baby in a manger. God is good, all the time.

And even though I didn't get many presents this year, I can smile with the fact that Jesus on the cross is the greatest gift of all ♥

And anyway, with all this alone time I've been rediscovering some old bands that I thought I grew out of. Like Faber Drive, 30 Seconds to Mars, Arctic Monkeys. Yeah, they're not the coolest indie/alternative bands out there, but I think they're just pleasing to hear, you know? And what more can you ask for in a band. Haha. Yes, and Arctic Monkeys is scarily similar to The Kooks, but what the heck, can't have too much of a good thing.

I looked through my entire iTunes library about 5 times today making playlists to listen to. Haha so far I have "Christmas Spirit", "Oh yeah soft rock", "Acoustic Roadtrips" and "Happy Days".

Haha, each has it's own vibe/genre. I feel accomplished :D

Yeah, it's off the New Moon soundtrack. So what. It's good music.

Christmas crafts!

This is the CD I made for YM gift exchange haha. Spent about 2 weeks trying to find the right songs, ended up with 7 in total. Haha, then I spent close to an hour making the CD cover and the inside stuff (which I was too lazy to take a photo of so nevermind).

AND THIS! Was a really last minute idea. Had a old topshop beanie that I never wore so I sewed some buttons on it. Haha, hopefully the person I'm going to give this to doesn't read this.

I know it's kind of stupid that I'm making gifts on Christmas day, but this year's Christmas hasn't really seemed like much anyway, so it figured it didn't matter.
